📚 BOOK REVIEW EDITOR
As Book Review Editor for the Journal of American Drama and Theatre (JADT), I aim to curate reviews on texts that span a wide range of topics related to drama and performance in the Americas. I prioritize critical reviews from a diverse mix of perspectives in order to offer a comprehensive view of the field’s evolution.
✍ FACILITATING EDITOR
As Facilitating Editor for the MusicTheatreDance Journal, I facilitate communications and scheduling for upcoming issues. I also collaborate with the section editors and web manager during the review process.
💻 TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST
Now serving my second term as Technology Specialist for the Disability, Theatre, and Performance (DTaP) Focus Group of Association for Theatre in Higher Education (ATHE), I set up and help manage the group’s communication platforms, including Executive Board email accounts and the listserv. In addition, I created and maintain the focus group’s website.
📢 DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATION & FINANCE
As a member of Southwest Popular/American Culture Association (SWPACA)’s Executive Team, I contribute to the planning and execution of the annual Albuquerque and Summer Salon (virtual) conferences. Along with overseeing SWPACA’s internal and external communications and financial operations, I designed and maintain the association’s website and social media pages.
🔍 EDITORIAL BOARD
Having formerly served as Associate Editor (WAVES) and Assistant Editor (New Voices), I continue to serve on the Editorial Board of WAVES: A Collection of Student Essays–a publication of CSU Northridge’s English Department. Each year, I lend my support as a reader to help select the strongest samples of first-year composition submissions. Recent editions of WAVES have included many of my own students’ essays!
